SIMON PLANT

Simon is a Sydney-based freelance performer and former professional ballet dancer whose career spans leading companies including The Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Cincinnati Ballet.

Born and raised in Blacktown, NSW, he began dancing at age seven before studying full-time at The Australian Ballet School. Alongside his classical foundation, he developed a strong versatility across commercial dance, musical theatre, and singing.

After performing with Australia’s national ballet company, Simon spent a decade in the United States, dancing with Complexions Contemporary Ballet in New York and Cincinnati Ballet. In 2026, he stepped away from ballet to pursue new creative ground in musical theatre and acting.

“Simon Plant best embodies the powerful athleticism and bravado the company is famous for.”
